Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited Woodgrange Medical Practice on Monday 15th November 2021 where he met with patients and our staff delivering Covid-19 vaccinations.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited Woodgrange Medical Practice where he met patients and staff delivering Covid-19 Vaccinations. He spoke to senior GP Dr Muhammad Naqvi, NHS North East London Clinical Commissioning Group's clinical chair for Newham, who explained that the local hospitals were still admitting seriously-ill Covid-19 patients who were not vaccinated against the virus. The Government announced booster jabs will now be offered to people aged between 40 - 49. Dr Naqvi encouraged people over the age of 40 to get their booster to ..."top up your defences and help prevent you getting sick".
Below are pictures and a video of his visit meeting with staff.
